What’s Behind the Name?
The name VERSITY has its origins in Latin. Think of the following words: University - where many people come together to learn as one; Diversity - moving apart; Adversity - moving towards; and Versatile - the ability to adapt and change. All of these English words imply change and movement.

Andrew applies extensive experience and expertise in the areas of Organization Development, Change Management, and Leadership & Management Development.

Andrew has an unwavering belief that an organization’s success is highly influenced by four factors: 1) the extent to which it has a well defined strategy and measurable goals that are well understood and supported by all employees, 2) a business culture and practices that are fully aligned with its goals, 3) the leadership and management practices that create the appropriate business climate, and 4) the commitment to measure and manage performance in each of these areas.

As a skilled facilitator with a down to earth, pragmatic approach, he helps business leaders and managers plan and implement a wide variety of organization changes that will engage employees and drive business performance. Management and Organization consulting accomplishments include: facilitating strategic business planning, assessing leadership and management potential in a management assessment center; managing the people side of technology and strategic business changes; developing and delivering a variety of competency based leadership and management workshops to over 4 500 managers and supervisors; developing competency based sales management and sales workshops for retail sales employees; designing organizational performance competencies for retail sales positions; designing competency based performance management systems; facilitating cross functional meetings; designing and implementing competency based 360° assessments of leadership, management, and board effectiveness; and executive, management, and sales management coaching.

Andrew’s experience is supported by a bachelors degree in applied psychology, an honors degree in clinical psychology, a masters degree in educational psychology, a diploma in higher education, a certificate in conflict resolution, and certification as an Emotional Intelligence facilitator. He is a certified human resources professional (CHRP) and registered clinical counselor (RCC).

Dr. Dan Snively has extensive executive and management experience in a number of diverse organizational environments.

For over 27 years, Dr. Snively held executive leadership positions in higher education and in a large international not-for-profit based in Washington D.C. He has advised and coached executives and senior leadership teams from Fortune 500 companies to national nonprofit and faith-based organizations. Dan is specifically recognized for his effectiveness in the evaluation and performance improvement for senior executives. He uses these insights to build results-driven teams, help organizations develop their leadership pipeline and rebuild effectiveness of leaders in crisis.

Dr. Snively’s unique professional focus on linking leadership to character, values, and principles brings clarity and focus on key issues that shape a client’s organizational climate and workforce. Dan’s innovative work in the design and implementation of organizational infrastructures has proven specifically beneficial to the executive teams in Fortune 500 corporations, mid-market and emerging firms, school corporations and non-profit organizations throughout the country. He is noted for helping individuals and their teams develop dynamics that accelerate their organizational effectiveness and achievement.

Dr. Snively has over 30 years of experience in the assessment field. He has specialized expertise in understanding and evaluating leadership and management behaviors and has authored six multi-assessment reports. In addition, he is recognized for his skill in customizing benchmarks based on high performers to equip struggling leaders to raise their performance and help companies hire better performers from the onset. He has customized batteries for industry-specific areas and mapped the attributes from the instruments to company values to create a narrative that helps leaders achieve extraordinary performance.

Dr. Snively earned his Ed.D. in Leadership, Supervision and Management from Ball State University.

He has been providing service for over 20 years to a variety of clients in the public and private sectors in both union and non-union environments.

Joseph is adept at leading teams, consensus building and developing creative yet pragmatic solutions to difficult organizational challenges. He brings a big-picture perspective in his consulting engagements in the areas of organizational change, leadership development and integrative human resource management. He is particularly skilled at assessing an organization’s needs strategically, crafting pragmatic solutions and then leading the implementation of those solutions.

As a highly skilled Professional Integral Coach™, Joseph works holistically with clients to bring about fundamental shifts in awareness and at the same time help to build the capacities for meaningful action to produce intended results. Joseph is passionate about developing individuals, teams and organizations to be their best for a more humane and peaceful world. Tricia is our Technical Recruitment Specialist.

Tricia has over 17 years experience in the recruiting profession having worked in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Hong Kong and Canada for international recruitment firms and a major US insurance company. During this time she has worked on a wide range of recruiting activities ranging from entry to executive level with a strong specialty in the engineering and technical placement field. In 1997 Trish established Select Placement. In addition, she has assisted over 500 families with relocation to Vancouver so is well versed in the transitioning of candidates and their families from countries around the globe.

Tricia completed a Diploma in Personnel Management and BA Degree in Psychology and is a member of the Human Resources Management Association in British Columbia.

Michelle is our Communications Specialist.

With twenty years of corporate communications experience, Michelle is a senior public relations professional with a proven track record for supporting and achieving corporate objectives through strategic, proactive communications programs. She has equally applied her positive, energetic approach and strong work ethic to communications roles within major international corporations like Motorola and to volunteer projects for small non-profit organizations.

Over the past ten years, Michelle has developed and successfully implemented complex, multi-audience communications strategies in a number of corporate settings. She has specialized in the development and implementation of communications programs to support major organizational change. This has included the organizational restructuring of several BC health regions, the transition of Red Cross Blood Services to Canadian Blood Services and the realignment of specialized provincial mental health services under the governance of the newly-created Provincial Health Services Authority.

Those who’ve worked with Michelle have especially appreciated her ability to meet tight deadlines and stay focused on the job at hand. She believes that an effective communications strategy is one aimed at helping key stakeholders to understand what is happening and what it means to them and feels this is best achieved through a respectful two-way communications approach focused on the unique information needs of each target audience.
